The Platforms and Devices Health Intelligence team is an interdisciplinary group of engineers and researchers focused on developing new technologies to help people understand and improve their health. In service of that mission, our team is on the forefront of developing, evaluating, and iterating on Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents and coaching experiences to help users understand their health and wellness data, and provide insights and coaching to help them live their healthiest life.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop Large Language Model (LLM)/AI agent tasks in conjunction with research scientists, utilizing internal libraries (e.g. OneTwo).
  • Develop and maintain evaluation pipelines and methodologies for testing various qualities, such as accuracy (and tone/factuality in the case of LLMs).
  • Work within Google3 (primarily in Python) to quickly deliver agents into the testing environment and enable the larger team to interact with them.
  • Work with Research Scientists to understand current state-of-the-art methods for working with LLMs and various tools to improve outputs.
